OK, I clipped this one, but I'm guilty of sending the complete emails
from the past. I answer emails for a living and I hate when customers
don't include previous information or only include what they believe is
important ... causing me to have to search my email archives to find
pertinent data that sometimes wasn't important until later in the email
conversation. Oh, and if they change the subject text ... ouch! ... then
I can't even find the original emails sometimes.

This is not a complaint, just a comment to help you see the other side of
the coin. And yes, I understand your suggestion and the problems this
can cause for those people who get the digest and have to wade through
the excess information.
