People,
If someone posts something that you don't necessarily agree should be on the list, just grunt and ignore it.

Do you realize that if more than one person responds to these types of posts, the number of posts will grow exponentially? By responding you are helping to increase the number of posts.

Follow the bouncing logic ball;
They post something you don't like. Two or more people respond with "this doesn't belong on this list..." The original writer and others respond to those responses... and so on, and so on and so on.

If every "bad" post generates, n successive posts, we get;

         x
y = n

If you don't respond and even if the originator keeps plodding along trying to goad people in responding we get;

y = cx, where c is number of posts the originator creates to makes his/her point.

Let's be linear and not exponential, ok?

Do we really need to respond to people whining and complaining about Apple's stock price or "NT sucks" or "Steve Jobs is an idiot" ?

I, for one, like seeing dialog about problems with Mac and NT, new software, installation do's and dont's (horror stories), etc.

Anyways, that's my 2 cents and I'm Canadian so it's only 1.5 cents U.S. We get killed on the exchange rate.

And yes, I realize that by sending this post, I too am adding to the exponential curve...

Alice laughed: "There's no use trying," she said; "one can't believe impossible things." "I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." - Carroll, Lewis, Alice in Wonderland.
