There's already such a script available as part of the set of Applescript
called Jon's Commands that provides a Contextual Menu item to do just
what you require. It includes options to change between Mac/DOS/UNIX
formats and works with multiple files. I don't have a URL for it to hand
but you should find it in any decent Applescript Archive. (I seem to
recall I found a link to it from the scripting section of the Apple site.)
