[WinMac] 2 Solutions: Mac CD from Windows

You should be able to create a Joliet disk which has long file names on Mac
and Windows, however, if you need to create disks which are fully Mac
Friendly, it is best to create an HFS disk. HFS is the Hierachical File
System, standard on all Mac hard disks, and the prefered meathod of creating
a Mac disk in Toast (the best CD authoring software I have ever used, sorry
Mac only). I found two products which can create HFS and HFS/ISO Hybrid
disks when we ran into this problem last year. The responses I got from
those manufacturers are below:
CeQuadrat has a product called Win On CD which can create a HFS or Hybrid
HFS/ISO CD on Windows. It is not Toast by any means, but it can get the job
done.

Creative Digital Research has a product called HyCD which can also create an
HFS or Hybrid HFS/ISO CD. Amazingly, the Java version is their best
product. The interface for their traditional application is dismal.
