Hi,
Sorry to blow the wind up under your skirts guys, but there seem to be too
many NT techies on this list. Nothing personal, but this list is called
"The Windows-MacOS cooperation list! I for one am getting tired hearing
about all sorts of AlphaNT, NT this and DOS NT that. Why doesn't someone
setup an NT list and leave the WIN-MAC COOP LIST to the rest of us???
No, I am not asking for flames, I think that this is a reasonable request.
I posted an e-mail a week ago about a Win backup utility and was seconded
by another list member...not one reply! An incredible amount of bandwidth
has been used however, on all sorts of non Win/Mac issues. If we are going
to keep this list on track without a list mom, then people on this list are
going to have to pull themselves together.
That is just my two cents! My original posting was as follows:
"I know that most of those on the list that use an MS system use NT, but I
will ask the following question in the hope that someone can still provide
the answer. Does anyone have a pet backup utility for Win 9.X? I use
Retrospect on the Mac side, but only need I Win client, so I am assuming
that there is something out there that is just as good, but cheaper than
the cost of a 5 Win client Retrospect license. Any suggestions?"
