This is a question similar to one I just answered on the TidBITS-Talk list:

I knew I had seen "Mac," "PPTP," and "WinNT" together before and I found it
in Richard Birchall's FAQ on Mac PPP Connections to WinNT RAS.
<http://valleynet.on.ca/~aa158/mac-ras.html>

"There is a PPP/PPTP client for Macintosh called TunnelBuilder for Mac
Remote, sold by NTS, which is capable of MS-CHAP authentication ("Require
Microsoft encrypted authentication"). It works very well. There is a
time-limited evaluation version available."
<http://www.nts.com/html/VPN/VPNtnnlBldr.html>

The evaluation version of TunnelBuilder should let you determine whether or
not DAVE will work with it. There may be other PPTP clients for the Mac
which may or may not support MS-CHAP but NT RAS can be configured to not
use MS-CHAP.

Note that if it works this combination will NOT let you see Macs in your LANs
AppleTalk zone but DAVE should let you see the PCs in the LAN.
