it makes sense, and it could very well be that Microsnot is that sneaky.
Unfortunately I cannot backup since I don't have a tape drive or mass
storage device for the PC, only for my Macs since the Pc I reallt bought
it to play with NT and learn it (and the occasional game/flight
simulator). I wonder if I could do a "usefull" backup with Retrospect
from my Mac by mounting my NT drive, I guess it should work, but not the
registry though, although that would fit on a floppy right? I know there
is a trick to backup the whole Registry to floppy but cannot remember
what it is... anyone?
