Geoff,

Sorry about the bad advice a minute ago. I just noticed that you are
printing to a networked LAN printer which means it must already be
working for everyone else and so there can be no cable problems.

I don't know what I was thinking . . . well, yes I do really . . . but
that's what you are supposed to say when you make a big one, right?

The only thing I can say is that hardware is usually the last thing I
check and in some instance should be the first. It's cause I'm used to
Macs -- which rarely have hardware probs . . . true, but ha! ha! anyway.
