Geoff,

Depending on the error messages when you are trying to print, and before
doing anything else, check the printer (or network?) cable.

Heck, a bad printer cable cannot be repaired by software.

Short of that, tell the list more specifics, such as the error messages,
the procedures you are following, the network and printer setup, etc. . ..

When our LaserWriterII-NT would not print, we tried everything to no
avail . . . it was the cable. The clue was that when we selected the
LaserWriter 8.1 printer driver in the chooser we would not see any
Postscript Printer Description (PPD) to select in the appletalk/network
(?) window (I'm not sure about the terminology here). Apparently, the
Chooser had to communicate with the printer in order for any PPD's to
show up in the first place. Clues are good if you recognize them. Took
us a while.

Hope you get it running.
