If you're using Norton Anti-Virus, that's likely the problem.
Disable or upgrade to at least 5.0.3.

How about using these guidelines for posts:

1) don't quote more of the previous post than necessary to bring a point across?
     (some quote an *entire* previous post = lots of wasted scrolling)
      
2) don't dual-post with both plain text and HTML - text only, please
     (I for one choose to restrict HTML to my browsers and I use only a
     standards-based, text-only email client)
      
Just intending to get the list cleaner-looking, the content is excellent as it is.
