I'm sorry, I still don't understand this viewpoint. I have been to
forums, email lists and web pages that had platform wars. This list does
not. Dan vs. Alex notwithstanding. :)

While it may be true that one person's 'facts' are another's opinion, I
don't see the problem with discussing which platform is better for a
particular task or program. That includes Mac vs. Win, Quark vs.
PageMaker, Novell vs. NT vs. ASIP, etc. As long as it doesn't become an
actual flame war, valid points are being brought out.

Also, people's experiences are not outdated. The same software is still
being used. If we remove people's experiences from the list, what is the
list for? How do you answer a question without real experience? Are we
only to discuss future products, brand new programs or new features of
old programs?
