Glenn,

I wish my fortunes had been as good as yours. I d'loaded this package a
couple of weeks ago. Expansion and installation went smoothly enough, but
when I try to launch the Outlook (v8.1) client, I got an "Error of Type 2"
after the splash screen had been displayed.

I've used Extensions Manager to fall back to System 8.5 Only before starting
the installation, thereby getting only MacOS 8.5.1 and Microsoft-required
system extensions. I can use Outlook Settings to check the setting
vis-a-vis the Exchange server, my personal address book, and personal
folders. I tried allocating additional memory. In all cases the Error Type
2 repeats.

Outside of MS Outlook v8.1, the system (G3-MT/266, 160MB/VM-off) is quite
stable running Office 98, IE4.5, and a variety of other non-Microsoft apps.

Prompted by your message, I tried again today with the same result.

Still head-scratching over this one.
