I disagree. In my experience it has been the other way around. Pagemaker
(which I privately call CrapMaker but wouldn't be a good idea to do it on
this list) yet you don't see me bashing Pagemaker any time someone
mentions it do you.

In my experience (and most of our clients') Pagemaker is an unstable
product that can't do all the things Quark can (apologies to Leonard from
Adobe but it's what we've found). So my "smart" clients have switched to
Quark or started with it and kept going at it.

There's a reason why Quark is THE Page Layout software of choice
worldwide.

But the point is not to discuss which one is better but rather to say
that I think (and am pretty sure the majority of the list agrees with me)
you shouldn't bash a software you don't like at every opportunity you get
on this list. Otherwise it would just be insane. Imagine if ervey time
someone mentioned NT I'd take the opportunity to point out all it's weak
points and start bashing it based on the faults I find in it... a never
ending story.

Have a little consideration for other people, especially those of us who
are sick of hearing you whine about Steve Jobs and Apple.

please, no flames.
