Hello Michael,

I work in an elementary school that is an all Mac school running off of an
NT server. We installed NT 4 with the Service Pack 4 and found that every
time we tried to copy large files to the server, it would cause the server
to shut down and restart. We also experienced the problem of disappearing
Mac volumes on the server. After contacting Microsoft, we were told to go
back to Service Pack 3. They said it was a problem with SP4 and had
something to do with running Mac services over a high speed connection.
Since going back to SP3, we have had no problems. I don't have a KB
article number as we spoke with Microsoft directly. I hope this helps.
