Poor assumption...that 'Alt 0183' _is_ the keystroke for that character.
(Ain't that intuitive!?) But copying and pasting from Character Map
should work...unless freehand isn't changing the font. Select the
characters you just pasted and see what font they are, and if necessary
change them. This _will_ be an ongoing headache for you because the
extended character sets for PC's and Macs are different.
