Dan,

That is true that the DOS compatibility Cards broke, temporarily.  A promised fix is in the works for the near future.

and

It is that person who . . . got a Houdini card to work properly on a Centris 660AV almost 5 years ago! . . . that we Mac oriented people are here to listen to.

That is the Mac spirit . . . doing the seeming impossible.

It is good for Wintel that they have you doing that for them now.

Don't let JOBs get you down pal.

YOU are the man for this list.  YOU can make MacWindows work together perhaps better than the rest.

For my part, thanks for all your efforts in our behalf (the WinMac list) toward that end.

God Bless us all.

Sigh... Hardware cards also break when new versions of the MacOS come
out... Just look at all the DOS-compatibility cards Steveified with MacOS
8.5... And hardware cards often have trouble running NT and OS/2... They
are pretty much stuck with DOS/Win/95/98 because the specialized HAL's
don't exist.

[BTW, I was one of the very first to get a Houdini card to work properly
on a Centris 660AV almost 5 years ago!]

        Cheers!
