Not true.  You don't live in the past as far as the Wintel world is concerned, but you do live in the past as far as Macs are concerned.

Your "Steveified" expressions are a constant reminder of this fact.

Except for the Steve thing, you comments and your statement about not living in the past are highly commendable.  We should none of us live in the past.

That is why we all are constantly updating and trying to find the latest fixes, etc . . . for our respective computer systems and networks.

I think . . . the PCs are getting better . . . and I feel . . . the Mac is getting better . . . and that both can live together . . . and that is what this list is all about.  It's an exciting time to be in the computer biz.  Everyone should be allowed in the game if possible.

I hope you will be able to try out the newest Mac hardware and software and will try to make it work smoothly (so you can tell us how to do it too) just as you try diligently to make the IBM/Wintel side of things work smoothly.

I know that right now you think that the IBM/Wintel is better at almost everything, or at least as good.  the Mac side feels the same for their side.  But all of us on this list want to make them work together, not necessarily replace one with the other.

Thanks for listening and also for all the great advice you have given.  You are a very informative computer person.  I am in awe of your knowledge and of the others on the list, all platforms.
