[WinMac] Re: NT SFM and locked files from locked folders

        Dear Blaine:

        Here's a case where the Mac platform can indeed be a good choice, IF your
"jukebox" either is a "tower," or uses LUN's to identify disks. AppleShare
Server 4.2.2 on a good clone with FWB's CD/ROM Toolkit works quite nicely
in this configuration if you use MacOS 7.6.1...

        Another alternative would be to try NT's Service Pack 4, since there were
quite a few bug-fixes for Services for Macintosh (SFM). Just be SURE to:

        1) Update your Emergency Repair Disk (ERD). As a shortcut, I use:
                Start -> Run -> RDISK /s
                [Don't be a N.E.R.D.: No Emergency Repair Disk!]
        2) Create the "Uninstall" directory while updating. You can use "Last
Known Good Configuration" and then uninstall it with the Add/Remove
Programs applet.

        Cheers!
        Dan
