To whom it may concern:

What really shines forth when Dan Schwartz talks is:

1) His knowledge of computers.

2) His undying hatred of Steve Jobs.

3) That "Dan's Mac Bashing" should be in his Signature.

4) That when he says "cheers" at the end of one of his bashings he is
really just being sarcastic.

5) His emotional bias when talking computers is pure . . . pure one
sided. I'm pretty sure it will swing again against the platform of
whoever "next" offends his sensibilities.

6) That he is missing his true calling. Being a flaming flamer of
anything remotely connected to Steve (the Steveified) Jobs.

I think Dan will not be happy until Steve Jobs is dethroned. Right Dan?

About Steve Jobs killing the clones. It was bad. It was awful. It was
dirty. It was ugly. . . . . .

 . .. . . ... it may have saved Apple . . . at least for the time being.

But Dan, . . . GET OVER IT!!!

I don't think Steve Jobs (nor Bill Gates) is the antichrist. You just
think he is, ok.

REPEAT: GET OVER IT DAN.

This is not a flame, Dan.

Except for the Steve thing, you sound like a heck of a nice guy.

Cheers (not being sarcastic . . . or am I . . . or are you . . . nah!)

PS

This will sound harsh Dave, but please don't continue to express your
subtle, but clear hatred for Steve Jobs on this wonderful list with so
many wonderful contributors. It truly will ruin the unique experience
of this list.

Someone came up with the wonderful idea of this list and it should be
allowed to grow.

Next time you feel that negative word coming forth from your keyboard
just say to yourself . . . "I don't have to say that. I'll say
something nice instead."

Like Scarlet O'Hara said as Rhett was leaving for the last time and
after she was saying she was going to get it all back (and him too) . . .

"I can't think about that today. I'll think about it tomorrow." Some
things are so painful that they can't be talked about. The clone thing
is that way. Leave it behind. L e a v e i t b e h i n d. L e a v
 e i t b e h i n d. L e a v
      e i t b e h i n d . . .
. . I am getting sleepy.

I'll try to do the same. It is difficult to accomplish sometimes, but
it can be done. For my part, I will try to overlook those parts of your
remarks that I perceive to be zingers. I will appreciate any help you
can offer from your side.
