Bob, thanks for the Etymology lesson...

If you guys (and I mean more than the 2 persons, you and David, that have
written so far) are offended by the term "Windoze" I will stop using it,
after all it is called democracy I think (Bob can do a little etymology
research on that term for the rest of us :). But not because 2 guys are
complaining.

Let me leave you with a very ancient fable (before Aesop I think):

A man, his son, and his donkey had to make a trip. They had to pass
through many towns to get to their destination.
They set off, father and son on foot, leading the donkey. When they
passed the first town, they heard the villagers saying: "look at those 2
nincompoops, they have a donkey and instead of riding it they're leading
it! Ha, ha, how stupid".

So the father told his son to get on the donkey and he would lead it. In
the next town, they heard the villagers saying: "Will you look at that?
The kid is riding the donkey all comfy while his old man has to walk,
this is an insult, I am offended by this, how can people do such
things???"

So the father said, "Well son, maybe they're right, let me get on the
donkey and you walk because I guess we're doing something wrong". So they
did.

In the next town they heard: "Will you look at this fresh old man? His
poor son is walking the donkey while he's riding on it like a king. this
isn't right, this is quite offensive, people shouldn't do things like
that!"

So, again the father considered the situation, "Son, we must still be
doing something wrong, people keep critizicing us..." So they got both on
the donkey and in the next town they heard: "Look at those two inhumane
guys, prefectly healthy and they are both on top of the donkey, they're
going to kill the noble beast!".

Thw moral of the story is that no matter what you do, someone will always
critizice you, you can't please everybody...

Sorry for the long post and this shall be the last I say about the
"Windoze" thing.
Let me know if the majority finds it offensive and I will banish it from
my postings.
