I wouldn't dismiss DAVE that quickly just because your demo version
crashed on you! I have been using it for more than a year (2.0 and before
1.x) without too many problems. When I upgraded to OS 8.5.1 I saw some
problems but fixed them by removing certain extensions, I am sorry I
can't remember which ones, but it has been working pretty good so far.

As far as using NT's Services for Macintosh, that doesn't help you if you
want to go peer to peer to another 95 machine, and they are not without
their problems.
