Over the holidays, could we ask that you do more research before
going off on the Macs again...?

As for harddrives - I've installed droves of SCSI drives from various
manufacturers (bought as PC drives) straight into my Macs - no problem!
The systems that I have had serious problems with HD recognition has
been NT and to a certain degree UNIX. So what's with your griping
about Apple ROMs?

Spend some time thinking about a bootable CD for NT instead Dan.
Perhaps it's on your Christmas wish list this year? Just don't hold your
breath. Not even NT5 is scheduled with that.

Oh, one last thing Dan, even IF Congress elects Denny Hastert as Speaker
of the House, there's still the 1st Amendment. Also, remember that the true
speech-control fanatics are on the other side of the aisle - Gore (remember
Tipper's labels?), ol' burn-'em-to-the-ground Janet Reno and just about any
other prominent Democrat - the list is too long.

Thankfully there's always the 1st Amendment and the Supreme Court... ;-)
(Not that I expect anything bad from Hastert - were he to become Speaker)
