Linux will never be mainstream for the same reason Unix won't. You'd be
wasting your time arguing the virtues of UNIX as a server since I agree; but
as a mainstream client it will never make it. A small consession to a
celebrity is hardly a poor choice on Steve's part, yeah you may be jonesing
for the high end PBG3 but if David Foley uses it a lot it will end up in his
TV shows, movies, personal appearances, and essentially become free ad
dollars. The fact is he would have been stupid not to give David one.

        *Sigh*

Dan complained about Steve Jobs _personally_ screwing over Apple by
not including Mac support on their CD-ROM. Oh _wah_.

Disney has been screwing over Mac users for ages now, ever since
their
"Blast" website for kids was _Windows-only_.

What i found annoying on Macintouch
        (http://www.macintouch.com/newsprevious.html) was this:

> The latest examples of absurdly bad Apple Support Problems include

PowerBook
> fixed. If you know the right people, though, it may be easier.

Yeah, Steve _loves_ kissing up to the rich and famous. Think
different? Think crappy service unless you're an actor that Steve
        likes.

Ungh. But whatever. Apple's on its way out. Heck, that's why all
my
        main work is done on a Linux box. >:}

But ah, i digress. This is a Windows-Macintosh Cooperation List.
Sorry. Next time, i'll leave the rants at the door.
