Correct. EMailer is unfortunately a bit outdated in it's
support of MIME and won't deal with many MIME features.

I don't know what EMailer does when you choose Base64, but IN
THEORY that should properly MIME encode the data and (assumng your
recipient has a MIME savvy mailer) you'll be fine.

StuffIt Expander for both Mac and Windows will happily un-MIME files.

You also have issues with receiving files with resource forks
and losing them - that's why I don't do my EMail on a PC.

Best solution - switch to Eudora on the Mac! Regardless of
anything else, it's the most standard's compliant of any of the EMail
packages and will both send & receive mail correctly.
