Moving Word mailmerge documents

Hello all,

We are migrating from Appleshare servers to Windows NT servers. Everything
looks fine with the servers, but there's a problem with Word 6.0 (Mac)
documents that use mailmerging. Documents that were created for Mailmerging
have a link to a datafile (I don't know the exact English terms, but in
dutch it is 'Gegevensbestand'). These links still point to the old server.
When the user is not connected to the old server, the Mac crashes with a
type 11 bomb (System 7) or Word crashes with a type 2 error (OS 8).

Is there any way to automaticly change these links? or at least to make
Word open the file (with an errormessage) when the old server is not
around? Otherwise I'll risk to have lots of documents which I can't open
when the old servers are not around anymore.

There are lots of files to change, so changing by hand is not really an
option.

With regards,

Jeroen Camstra
