There's also a shareware program called "Drop*Rename" which allows drag &
drop batch renaming. You can save differents scripts ("Renamelets") for
.doc, .xls etc.

It's sometimes on the MacAddict disk or you could download it from
http://www.chaoticsoftware.com/ChaoticSoftware/

The shareware fee was $10.
