This was a BIG peeve of mine and I didn't really notice it until I slapped
a second display on the Orange card so I could see what was going on. I
had an OrangePC card with it's OWN SCSI drive. Anytime you switch back to
the Mac the PC will CRAWL! Like a SNAIL. This was easy to see with two
monitors. I'd start, say, a large file transfer and it would clip right
along. Then I'd switch to the Mac and change to another application and it
was like I threw up a brick wall; the file transfer would morph into
molasses. As soon as I switched back to the OrangePC app, it sped up again.

I want to go on the record as saying that this sucks. Tech support told me
there was nothing I could do (I also suggested a second SCSI card) but they
said it would not make a difference.
