Hidden, yes. But still very much there. Just try saving a Mac Word
file without adding .DOC and your Wintel using counterparts will
complain they have to open the file from within the application.
They'll blame it on the Mac that they can't just double-click their
way into opening the app from the file. Seems to me this should be an
automatic option in MS Office for the Mac. I wonder why they haven't
included it???

BTW, PowerPoint is .PPT
