Actually, there are Y2K patches for NetWare 3.12. I can't vouch for their
efficacy, but they were out there when I last looked a few months back.
NT, from my exposure, is not very stable. Most of the techs. that I know
in my area that work on Novell and NT prefer the stability of NetWare (any
flavor) over NT even though NT is much easier to configure (on the server
side). Good luck in your decision. In our company, we are migrating from
NetWare 3.12 to NetWare 5.0 the first quarter of 1999. I will be
connecting over a dozen PC's, 2 Macs, and 2 RS/6000's running AIX. I may
be asking y'all for some input when the time comes. Contrary to my own
belief, I don't know it all. :-D
