I'll try to forward this to our support staff although I wonder what
benefit I could have by printing via NT's spool (see below).

Yes, of course (silly me!). I _had_ set Ethertalk active via Telnet but I
then tried to print through NT's spool. After your reply I noticed that the
LaserJet appeared in the Chooser _also_ with its AppleTalk-name and now it
prints OK through Ethernet also!

BTW, my made unsuccesful attempts via the NT's spool from Word 6.0.1 and
SimpleText.

p.s. I didn't previously even know that you could Telnet to a printer.
Unhelpful support staff makes you learn...
