        Whoa, Leonard!

        Yes, you can broadcast any size as a maximum... But if you have MacOS
clients running different versions, then you'll crash the Finder!

        2 gig maximum for anything under System 7.5; 4 gigs in the 7.5.x series.
But then, some jackass will bring in a Mac SE30 with System 7.1 and blow up...

        FOR WINDOWS NT:

        To change the maximum partition size broadcast to the Macs, use REGEDT32
and edit the value in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINES\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MacFile\Parameters\Vol
umes\<VolumeName> Properties=xxxxx and add 262144 (0x00040000) to the
number xxxxx. [This will broadcast a 4 gig share size to the Macs. For
