Hello!

We have a small LAN with an NT 4 (SP3) server
and several Mac Clients. Yesteday I set up
some of our HP LaserJet printers to be used
from a PM 4400/200 in both direct connection
(printing files are sent from Mac to printers)
and NT-queued connection (printing files are
sent to NT server and it send to printers).

When I try to configure the printer driver
using NT queue, our Mac send a little query
to the NT queue and I select the right PPD
file.

It seems that the little query was not acceptable
by out NT server: whet it tries to proces the
job it becomes very overloaded til NT system manager
manually deletes it.

Does anyone have any suggestion?

More information:

- NT runs services for macintosh, not DAVE.
- PM4400 run Mac OS 7.5.3.
- LaserJet driver is 8.2.1
- NT queues are used by PC-NT clients withou trouble.
- all of the use ethernet.

Thanks in advance,
