[WinMac] WinNT PDC vs BDC

Our department has recently set up an NT server. Before this setup, one of
the techies in our department, has had as one of his personal use machines,
an NT Server box.

Our department NT server is the most important machine of both. His, is
really an unnofficial machine because he pretty much put it together
himself and was payed for by himself, I guess he felt like bringing in his
own machine in addition to the one given to him by the department.

To make a long story short, his machine is currently the Primary Domain
Controller, and when we set up our NT box it was setup as the Backup Domain
Controller. I do not yet understand very well what consequences this may
have in the near future for our clients, but I suspect we would want to
have the official NT Server as the PDC for the department.

By the way, we currently have been running NetWare 3.11 and have about 45
clients, 3 of which are PCs, and the rest are Macs.

I will gradually migrate all of these accounts to the NT server fairly soon
and I am not so sure that these accounts will need to be migrated to a PDC
machine only (to avoid unforeseen problems?).

Can you please shed some light on this issue?
