My company started out on Macs and is now slowly migrating to PCs. A
total of 10 or so computers, and I think that makes it worse for the
cross-platform integration. We have 10 employees with 10 different
computing personalities. It's my job to keep them all happy. A Mac
person needed a calendar and contacts file to share across the office,
so I installed Exchange Server because I knew we were on our way to
migrating to PCs. I'm glad I installed it because it's just increased
productivity like mad on the PCs. The Macs, however, can't get any
usefulness out of it, so they're back to Outlook Express.

I've found that integrating the two platforms on a network is no easy
task. I've found that it can't ever be completely compatible. I've
found that the PCs are much more robust and that all my Mac users who
have switched to Windows have been glad they did. So right now my plan
of action, sad as it may be, is to migrate users instead of work the
network around their needs.
