Mac IP conflict happened to us on two of our 6100/66's. That was when we
directly connect our network with the company wide NT-based network.
Before, the Mac network sat behind an Apple Gateway.

Also, we had the impression that Macs and PCs follow different networking
concept. Macs are connected with the Macs grouped in zones ( I believe this
is the recommended way), while PCs are connected in a large-single zone.
Are these rules still apply ? Any body knows what are the consequences if
they are not followed in a mixed network (100+ devices).

Also, please keep the discussion to the WinMac integration matters.
Eventhough I am a Mac addict and subscribe to it, I feel this is not the
place for evangelizing either platform.

[Mac having IP conflict with itself is a 7200 problem?]

Well... FWIW, it happened to me with a 7100/80.
