Macs make great network clients and are far easier to configure but I know
what you're talking about. Most the network guys know nothing about Macs
and so we've had to learn to take care of ourselves.

You need to make sure some things are also have the right Mac stuff loaded
on the Netware server. Things like AFP.nlm and MAC.nam just to mention a
few. With AppleTalk loaded on the server you wouldn't even need the
Netware Client stuff and you could just use the built-in Appletalk from the
Mac's Chooser to log into the server.

The Mac is limited to 31 characters for filename but on the Netware server
you'll need to have either the OS2.nam loaded or I think your server will
run LONG.nam for the long file name support of Win95 & NT.
