Excuse me if I got this wrong, but I thought this list was meant to be a
forum for discussion about the problems of supporting cross-platform
environments, not a place where the same old boring arguments about the
relative merits of one OS/server software could be aired all over
again.

Could I respectfully request that in future we leave all our platform
preferences at the door and try to be a little bit more constructive.
