As a suggestion for the PC-Side FTP server, try WAR-FTP, available via
www.tucows.com It works real well for me, and is freeware. I use it to
get a cheap simulation of networking on our (appletalk-less) NT network,
since I can see my network drives via my desktop that way.

There are several other servers at that site. In fact I can safely state
that tucows is the BEST site for finding internet-related tools of all
sorts for Macs, Win or NT.
