Reply to: Re: [WinMac] Re: At ease We use the Apple Network Administrator Toolkit that Apple has recently updated. Called ANAT for short, this package comes with At Ease 5.0.1 for Work Groups. We find this to be very useful in lab situations. You have the option of having the user boot into the Traditional At Ease environment or the Finder or a Limited Finder(what we use). You control what Apps they can run, which folders and files they can use, which CDs they can use and which printers they print to. At Ease for WG does require a server which allows for central management, however you are limited to 4000 usernames. The other half of ANAT is called Network Assistant. This little tool is a great time saver. It allows remote control, remote administration, remote software install, screen sharing and many other features. We use this not only in our labs but also in our offices, especially on machines in other buildings that are hard to get to, on kiosks, even on "trouble" users' macs that are just down the hall.
