        Conversion to a Windows... 9/28/98 7:59 AM

I administer an environment of about 100 Macs which are connected via TCP/IP
and AppleTalk and store necessary files on an AppleShare server. I am planning
a migration of most of the nodes to the Windows platform and wanted to find
out if anyone has recommendations on a couple of items:
1. We are currently utilizing QuickMail server software for e-mail which
connects to a software gateway to receive internet e-mail. Does anyone have a
recommendation on an e-mail client/server solution which incorporates both
platforms?
2. I would like to replace the AppleShare server with an NT box. Does anyone
have recommendations on how smoothly this process may go and how difficult it
will be to connect the MacOS nodes to this NT server?
Any other advice/info you may have in regards to this type of migration would
be greatly appreciated.
