I don't know....

Those AOL floppies are pretty flimsy in my book. They last about once or
twice then develop a bunch of bad sectors.

The patch I mentioned in last post was a new version of PC Exchange.
Apparently the one that shipped with 8.0 had a bug that sounds like what
everyone has been experiencing. I won't have a chance to try it out 'til
after 10/1, so I'd love to hear feedback about other's experiences
beforehand. TIA.
