The WinBench98 software clocked my CPU speed at 66MHz. This is on a G2/266 with 512k backside cache, and a 66 MHz bus. When comparing the results that were previously posted to mine, I can't help but think that the calculated CPU speed has something to do with the system bus speed. Perhaps someone may want to expound on that subject. However, I did notice that when you compared my CPU mark (108) to the CPU mark of a DELL dimensions 133 (233), it did't look too good.

I use VPC at a basic level. In our multiplatform environment I need to help users with file conversions and OS questions. It's useful to have immediate access to a PC without the expense of another machine. I don't think I could handle it if I had to work in VPC for any more than an hour a day. In a production environment the speed of a real machine would be worth it.
