I ran a ziff-davis benchmark a few weeks ago and it calculated the speed of
VPC running on my Crescendo G3 300 on a PowerMac 9600 (1M L2 cache, 2:1
ratio, 45 Mhz bus) to be about a 47Mhz pentium. I should note that the
benchmark complained about some of the required VPC programs running during
the test, but I doubt that this skewed the results significantly.
