Hello everyone,
I have experienced in two of my Macs either a crash or a finder quit while
opening a folder where a file, with a name longer than 31 characters (35
actually), resided.
This file was stored in a directory in our Netware 3.11 server and was
created with Win98 by one of our staff members .
The MacOs 8.1* Finder quits upon opening, or attempting to open the server
directory where this file resides.
The MacOs 7.6.1** mac completely and hopelessly crashed with the same
procedure.
I had never experienced this before and wanted to share this, can anyone
offer more insight regarding this?
*with OT 1.3.1
** With OT 1.2.1
Cheers!
Cesar
