[WinMac] Netware difficulties

Further to my earlier posts, I still have had no luck in logging onto our
netware servers via the chooser. I receive a "Server is not reposonding" error.

I am running:
G3 PowerBook
Mac OS 8.1
OT 1.3.1
Ethernet extension 2.0.4
Appleshare client 3.8 (downloaded the other day)
Netware client 5.11 (downloaded from novell site)

Any more ideas? Is anyone else running OT 1.3.1 on a netware network? Should I
move to an earlier version of OT?
Virtual PC runs no problems - can access email and internet through the network.

Also: Our IT division is installing an ISDN link between our server and our ISP.
Apparently I can hook up to the ISDN link via the ethernet on the PC side of
things. We are using Shiva software for security. What software is available
on the Mac side to do same?
