Another approach would be to upgrade your Appleshare Server to ASIP 6.0.
All file sharing can be done via IP (thus the name) plus you can keep
AtEase and ANAT. Also Apple claims that w/6.0, Win9x machines can see
the Mac server with no additional client software. The upgrade from 4.2
is about $400 for educators if you buy direct from Apple. The ASIP
listserv is very active and pretty informative. It can be accessed via
Apple's site.
