Oh, one more thing: aliases to things on volumes which haven't
been mounted yet will still use Apple Standard UAM.
If the volume is already mounted, no
problem. It mentions this in the Readme.

When you mount a volume using MS UAM, make an alias, dismount the
volume, and double-click the alias, the Apple Standard UAM comes up,
not the MS UAM. In fact, I found no way to make the OS use the
MS UAM. I even tried turning on the option on the server side
that says "force the use of MS UAM". In this case, double-clicking
an alias led to various errors about not being able to find
the volume on the network.

For this reason, implementing MS UAM is problematic. It depends
on how much you emphasize security.
