i think your VAR is full of it. SCSI is SCSI is SCSI. i know the
6100 takes a SCSI CD. The only problem would be if the 3600i had an
IDE drive.

But if you had a 24x _SCSI_ CD-ROM, there should be _no problem_
putting it into your 6100.
