My guess is that your building's routers are not forwarding Appletalk
packets. If your building is set up like so many others, each floor gets
its own router.

Also make sure you are looking in the right zone in the Chooser; my last
workplace had the computers in one zone, and the printers in other zones by
floor, it was a big mess.
