[WinMac] RE: All-in-One Products for Macintosh

Scott, If you can swing the price (around 10-15K) and you need to support 50-100 seats, Xerox just released their all-in-one copier, scanner, print-from-floppy, fax and network printer (Adobe ps2 certified and pcl5e compliant) this past April. Its a 32-ppm B/W copier @ 300-dpi that supports TCP/IP (lpr), appletalk, Netware (3x and 4X), netbios-netbeui, netbios-ip and even banyan vines. Pick your poison, ethernet, token ring or just plain parallel printing. You can even run most any of the above concurrently. Configuration and support are provided via any web browser, the built-in UI or any snmp-capable agent. The Xerox supplied Mac/PC/Unix drivers support all the capabilities of the device including LANFax (i.e. from your desktop). The Mac ones are based on Adobes' 8.5.1 Printer Driver. It's a pretty sweet package you may have seen commercials for in the last couple of months. There was a review in a PCWeek-type magazine (I don't remember which) about two months ago.
Regards,
